Suicidal Ideation: How Embark Behavioral Health Helps Young People

Creative Direction, Production, Videography, Editing

At Embark Behavioral Health, therapists understand the weight of their clients' struggles with suicidal ideation (SI). They approach their clients with deep empathy, recognizing the immense pain and hopelessness that accompany such thoughts.

In this video, I wanted to showcase the compassion and empathy that emanates through Embark clinicians. To do this, I envisioned a visually simplistic video set up that focused more on the person and what they were saying than flashy b-roll or motion graphics.

The content editor and I collaborated to select clinicians across multiple Embark locations and generate interview questions. Due to time constraints, I coordinated with on-site clinic staff and a freelancer to plan two shoots. The freelancer filmed the clinicians in California, and I traveled to Colorado.

Once the freelancer and I had completed our respective shoots, I compiled the footage, edited, designed the thumbnail, and published the final video
