At Embark's residential program in Benton, Tennessee, clinical and residential staff collaborate to guide teens on their healing journeys. As each member of the team wholeheartedly contributes, they create a support system for families undergoing transformation. Together, the seamless collaboration between clinical and residential staff gives rise to an environment where families can heal, grow, and thrive.

There is a lot of teamwork that goes into making sure students stay safe at a residential treatment center. A lot of the key players, such as residential directors and chefs, are some of the unsung heroes who support and guide teens.

To showcase them, I collaborated with the content editor on my team to craft interview questions. Then, I coordinated with on-site staff to create an hour-by-hour schedule for our shooting day, as well as find teenagers to represent students. I also hired a freelancer in Tennessee as a second shooter.

This video was filmed over the course of a day and a half — on day 1, we filmed the interviews and the majority of the b-roll. On day two, I filmed the sunrise, as well as some supplemental detail and beauty shots.

Once I got back to Arizona, I complied the interviews, crafted the story, went through a couple of rounds of feedback and edits, and designed the thumbnail, and published the final video.
